Sheila MacFayden*

Sheila MacFadyen is the Chairperson of the Suffolk School Employees Health Plan, a self –funded consortium located on Long Island,  New York, offering health coverage to over 10,000 people.  Her responsibilities include the oversight and management of all areas of the Plan.  She has been a member of the Board of Trustees since its inception in 1991.

 In addition, Sheila is the founder and Director of the Three Village Teachers Association Benefit Trust Fund, which offers dental, vision, life, long term care and legal services to its members.  She also served as President of the Three Village Teachers Association and was a classroom teacher in the Three Village Central School District for over 20 years.

 Sheila received a B.S. in Education from Georgian Court University and a M.A. in Reading Instruction from Long Island University, Southampton, NY
