The attendee's were very interested in new ideas and products and were there to do business. Networking meetings were a great idea, and quite a few leads came from the experience. Look forward to seeing you next year.”
Harris Galatan National Accounts Regional Sales VP SRC - An Aetna Company

“Without question, the best conference I have been to in my 30 years of healthcare experience. Almost all conferences, I have previously invested time and money resulted in little or no actual contact with meaningful prospects. The uniquely executed “speed dating” concept to request and meet with conference participants was the most productive time I have ever spent at a conference.”
Geri Ann Cangelosi, Aegis Administrative Services, Inc.

“This year’s Voluntary Benefits Conference was a real pleasure. The hotel was absolutely gorgeous right across from Sony Pictures. Hollywood types in and out of the hotel lobby. I enjoyed seeing old associates and making new connections. I expect some of those new contacts will be profitable for years to come.”
John Kuveikis Government Service Administrators

Speaker
Colleen DePadua, Manager of Group Insurance
Black & Decker

"The Voluntary Benefits Conference 2010 will be a great opportunity for employers and vendors to discuss the current and new products in the marketplace. With national healthcare reform having passed as well as current economic pressures affecting most employers, voluntary benefits are becoming more important than ever. The Voluntary Benefits Conference is an excellent forum for both employers and vendors to come together to gain an understanding of what is available and what unmet needs might still be looming."

Speaker
Bob Trujillo, Human Resources Director
American Bar Association

"In order to meet the challenges of the current financial climate while balancing employee retention and recruitment, human resource professionals are faced with coordinating a new and innovative structure to their benefit plans. This conference is a great launching pad for sharing and developing new approaches toward our benefit packages."

Speaker
Pani Tademeti,HR Manager- Total Compensation
Office of State Personnel, North Carolina

"Attending a National conference like this stature provides many opportunities to learn from others experiences and know how in promoting voluntary benefits. Voluntary benefits play a critical role in employee benefits. The down turn in the economy gives a greater challenge for HR Professional as how to motivate their employees. Competitive voluntary benefits that provide value and customer service go a long way in keeping employees happy."

The Voluntary Benefits and Limited Medical Conference this year will have several cutting edge general sessions and workshops and a heavy focus on how Healthcare Reform Affects the Voluntary Benefits and Limited Medical Industry and new   innovative opportunities it provides.

Voluntary Benefits and Limited Medical Plans are a multibillion dollar industry that will face new challenges and opportunities under healthcare reform.  Many employers will turn to voluntary benefits as they cancel “core” group insurance benefits because of the increased cost of paying for those benefits.   Healthcare reform will also lead to the growth of certain voluntary benefits and the creation of new voluntary benefits.  Many insurance agents will turn to voluntary benefits to make up for lost revenues as healthcare reform squeezes the “pie” and forces insurers to lower and possibly eliminate commissions for group health insurance plans.  Agents will need to offer voluntary benefits to supplement their incomes.  Also, while healthcare effects negatively some limited medical plans, other limited medical plans will thrive and grow significantly under healthcare reform.  As healthcare reform increases insurance rates, more Americans will no longer be able to afford a major medical plan and will switch to limited medical plans.

The 2nd Annual National Voluntary Benefits and Limited Medical Conference is the first and only national voluntary benefits and limited medical conference in the country with a focus on employers and will feature up to 800 attendees, up to 50 exhibitors and sponsors and up to 50 expert speakers. The 1st Annual National Voluntary Benefits Conference featured over 375 attendees from around the country, over 35 sponsors and exhibitors and expert speakers from Black and Decker, McDonalds, and CKE Restaurants. This year the conference has allocated a budget to cover the expenses for up to 200 employers to attend the conference.  This year’s conference should have the largest amount of employers out of any US healthcare conference. This is the one national event you can’t afford to miss if you are in the voluntary benefits, limited medical or worksite industry.

This year we will be implementing sophisticated networking software so attendees can go online before the conference and see all the other attendees coming to the conference and pre-schedule up to 24 private one-on-one networking meetings at the conference. The Employer Healthcare Congress and the Voluntary Benefits and Limited Medical Conference is the only US healthcare to implement private networking meetings to maximize your time. Come find out what all the buzz is about and why attendees described this as the best conference they have attended.

Voluntary Benefits and Limited Medical Plans are a multibillion dollar industry and one of the fastest growing segments in the insurance industry in America. Voluntary Benefits and Limited Medical Plans have been featured in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, the NY Times and thousands of other publications across the country. Yet, as fast as this industry has grown, and continues to grow, there has never been a dedicated conference for both Voluntary Benefits and limited medical plans. Employers, health insurance agents and consultants are currently in the dark when it comes to learning about Voluntary Benefits and limited medical plans, or choosing the best insurance carriers to work with.

In today’s marketplace insurance agents and employers don’t know where to turn or look for quality Voluntary Benefits, mini medical and limited medical insurance carriers, and to find out which has the best plan design, what the commission levels are and who has the best customer and administrative services.

This Voluntary Benefits, Mini Medical Plan and Limited Medical plan Conference is the one event per year where brokers, agents and employers can learn:

  • What are the best Voluntary Benefits, mini-medical plans and limited medical plans?
  • How to properly implement and enroll a Voluntary Benefits platform, mini-medical plan or limited medical plan?
  • How to design the best plan design with the best benefits at the most affordable price for employees?
  • How to increase enrollment by up to 50% or more?
  • How to negotiate for the best commissions? How much is really in the “bucket!”

The Voluntary Benefits, Mini Medical Plan and Limited Medical plan Conference will also discuss the next evolution of innovative voluntary benefits, mini-medical and limited medical products, such as mini-major medical plans and which  mini medical carriers in the marketplace are launching these innovative products.

Credit Crisis & the US Economy
The conference will also address how the credit crisis and the US economic recession will affect the voluntary benefits, mini medical, limited medical and worksite industry. Will there be a positive effect, or a negative one? How do we position ourselves in this industry to take full advantage of the credit crisis and the economy and help it to increase enrollments and sales for our organization? The credit crisis and economy can help a broker or insurance carrier increase their block of business, but only if they position themselves correctly.

The Uninsured Marketplace
The United States has over 50 million Americans with NO HEALTH INSURANCE. Over 120 million Americans have no dental insurance. It is estimated an equal to or larger percentage are underinsured! What are your plans on how to target and market to this potential customer base?

Other key aspects attendees will learn are:

  • What are the best voluntary benefits and worksite products to be packaged with a mini medical or limited medical plan?
  • Which are the best enrollment companies for your voluntary benefits, mini-medical plans, limited medical plans and worksite products?
  • Who are the voluntary benefits and worksite insurance companies you can work with?
  • How to penetrate the Hispanic marketplace?
  • What prescription drug options do you have?
  • What are discount cards, how do they fit and who are the players?
  • What options are there for medical plans for those individual Americans who are uninsured?
  • What are the most effective enrollment options, in person, internet, call center?
  • How to achieve 50% or more enrollments in your voluntary benefits, mini medical and limited medical plans?
  • How to use the Advanced Earned Income Tax Credit to allow employees during the credit crisis and economic recession to continue paying for their voluntary benefits, mini medical plan, limited medical plan and/or worksite insurance products?

Networking Opportunities
The Voluntary Benefits, Mini Medical Plan and Limited Medical Plan Conference will have a special focus on networking, and will help attendees coordinate networking meetings to develop new business relationships.

The organizers of this conference have been involved in the US insurance industry since the beginning of the mini-medical plan and limited medical plan industry.  They started and organize the largest US healthcare conferences in the country. They have been featured or mentioned in over 75 newspapers and magazines, including Time Magazine, USA Today, Newsweek and more. Last year’s conference had over 1,000 pre-scheduled one-on-one networking meetings to maximize everyone's time and business opportunities.

The Voluntary Benefits & Limited MedicalConference will have a special focus on networking and will feature up to 3,000 one-on-one networking meetings. Attendees will identify some of the attendees they would like to meet at the congress and what they would like to accomplish and "our software" will try to arrange it for you. Our congress is the only event where employers, insurance agents, brokers, consultants, TPA’s, ASO’s, insurance companies, vendors and more can network and have private networking meetings. Anyone can come to this event and create new business relationships and contracts that would otherwise take years of work to accomplish. Take two days of your time and come to the most intense and high level networking session in the country.

Accomplish in 3 days what would otherwise take you years to accomplish!

This year we will be implementing a special software program that will allow attendees to pick and choose who they would like to pre-schedule a meeting with. The networking software will allow attendees to set up profiles of their companies and themselves within the online website and search through the list of attendees for those companies and people they would like to meet with. Profile information that attendees can include online include attendees name, website, contact information, company information, and other pertinent information.

Detailed searches can even be done within the system such as searching for all companies within a certain country or other search criteria. Attendees for the Voluntary Benefits & Limited Medical Conference will be able to chose up to 50 companies to have pre-scheduled one on one networking meetings with over the two day conference. Attendees will have to have all networking meeting selections done prior to the conference.

When the networking meeting software deadline has expired the computer system will automatically match and schedule meetings for you according to the guidelines. If you have created a profile you will then receive an email that will let you know when your networking meetings have been scheduled. You will be able to log back into your online profile and view your networking schedule. Your detailed schedule will include the day, time, seat, person, and company you are scheduled to meet with. Once your schedule has been automatically selected for you based on your choices you will be able to edit or make changes to your schedule if needed.

You can also accept and decline your existing meetings. You can also move, and add new meetings into open slots in your networking schedule! This amazing software program allows you to maximize your time at the voluntary benefits conference to maximize your networking and business opportunities.

Our one on one networking meetings are some of the most valuable time spent at the Voluntary Benefits & Limited Medical Conference and with our new software system implemented this year we are so excited to offer this new and exciting program exclusively to our attendees. These meetings will be pre-scheduled and will be up to ten (10) minute meetings.

The Voluntary Benefits, Mini Medical Plan and Limited Medical Plan Conference is the ONE conference per year you CAN NOT AFFORD TO MISS!
